In the case of another recent information arbitrage opportunity in LAKE, we discovered not widely disseminated comments in the company’s NT 10-Q that stated they were delaying their 10-Q filing because they were expecting to report a “significant” increase in revenues and income. We bought before the market found out — the result? Gains of near 50% in the span of just days when we sold our position.
