What We’re Buying

Money-making Moves that the GeoTeam Conveys to its Premium Members

Information Arbitrage: We’ve come across a potentially hot yet very speculative information arbitrage (InfoArb) play that has the makings of up to 4x gains if the company lives up to its implied valuation conveyed to premium members last week. This window of opportunity may only last two more weeks.

InfoArb is a term we like to use when publicly available information is either undiscovered or underfollowed by the market at large. In cases where this InfoArb tells us that the valuation of a company is mispriced due to a variety of factors, there is a likely Call to Action (CTA) that will eventually be issued. For more information on how we find and use information arbitrage, go here.

Added Two More Stocks to our Run to One Portfolio: 44% of stocks on this screen went on to rise over $1.00 and 72% are in positive return territory, with an average return of 206%. To find out what else we’re buying, please consider join GeoInvesting now!

5 Tips to Become a Better Investor

By Maj Soueidan

Learning how to become a better investor is a never-ending process, from beginner to experienced.  Becoming a better investor is no different than other aspects of our daily and professional lives. I am a big sports fan and playing tennis has been my game of choice since I was 15.  Even as I’m older, I still find ways to get better and develop my “serve and volley,” including taking lessons.  In tennis, like in the market, even incremental gains can eventually, together, lead to big wins. STUDS

PNTR: A Case Study

In keeping with the theme of current case studies, we wanted to highlight our work on Pointer Telocation Ltd. (NASDAQ:PNTR).

In May 2017 we stated we were keeping a close eye on telematics company PNTR as the Company continued to report strong quarterly earnings and continues to expand its SaaS business segment.  The stock was trading at $10.40 at that time and we disclosed our position at $11.84.  Shares have been on a two month tear, rising from lows of $9.95 on August 7, 2017 to new highs of $17.65. Shares have now passed our near term price target of $16.65 which we highlighted in our July 11, 2017 article, “This Potential SaaS Multi-Bagger has Been Unnoticed by Wall Street — But Not For Long”.  Shares were trading at $12.30 at the time of our article.

We are actively looking at additional stocks in the Fleet Management space and just added one to our Mock Portfolios. Join now for access to our full pipeline of ideas.

Geo Represented Across the Nation Over The Past Month

The months of September and October have been busy ones for the GeoTeam. A documentary entitled “The China Hustle” that features GeoInvesting and focuses on Geo co-founder Dan David premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last month. Reviews for the documentary from industry sources like Variety have come back positive.

In addition, Geo co-founder Maj Soueidan and analyst Christopher Irons both presented “TraderTalks” at this year’s Traders4ACause charity conference in Las Vegas, NV on 10/6-10/8. They appeared alongside CNBC’s Jon Najarian, Citron Research’s Andrew Left, Kerrisdale Capital’s Sahm Andrangi and others.
