Putting your money where your mouth is. CodeSmart announced on Monday that its CEO and Chairman purchased 25,000 shares of the company’s stock in the open market. On August 27, Ira Shapiro acquired 25,000 shares of common stock of CodeSmart from the public market at an average price of $3.21 per share. Following this transaction, Mr. Shapiro owns 2,875,000 shares in the company. While the recent purchase represents a small percentage of his total position, there is no stronger sign of faith from public company management than putting additional personal money into the stock, knowing that liquidity is likely to be years away.
