We want to stress that although we are not short-term “COVID-19 seeking investors” we feel it’s important to understand the impact COVID may have on the businesses we had intended on investing in for the long term to help us address a few questions:

• If a company has been negatively temporarily impacted by COVID does the company have the liquidity to pull through the crisis?
• If a company has been negatively impacted by COVID has it found a way to turn the crisis into a long-term advantage? 
• If a company has not been negatively impacted by COVID has it found a way to turn the crisis into a long-term advantage? 

At this point, in the COVID investing cycle, we are not interested in companies that will only benefit from temporary growth opportunities. There was time for that trade and we believe it’s passing. We are more interested in those companies that are.
