I need to research more about Lyon William Homes (OOTC:LWHS). Information are very scarce.
By the way, did you notice the recent performance of Overseas Shipholding (OOTC:OSGIQ)?
Yesterday the Bankruptcy Court considered Overseas Shipholding Group's motion to implement a severance plan and $OSGIQ price increased by 51.38% in one day!
Here there are all the Court documents:
http://www.kccllc.net/osg
but I still didn't find a plausible reason for this rapid appreciation.
I'm aware that you published a third-part (Infitialis) negative report about this company.
I have no position because I didn't yet understand what it happened.
To quote another interesting company that recently exited chapter 11, I'm long Star Buffet, Inc. (NASDAQ:STRZ).
There way a very good write-up on Sumzero.

I still cannot really explain the recent price surge in K-V Pharmaceuticals (OOTC:KVPHQ) (flat for a while around $0.07 and then the last week above $0.20).
Today (February 5, 2013) it's scheduled a hearing to consider K-V Pharmaceutical's motion for an exclusivity extension.
I'll try to gather more information.

There is a good piece published by promotionstocksecrets.com (nodummy):
http://promotionstocksecrets.com/echo-automotive-inc-ecau-research-request
and I've received a newsletter by The Bedford Report:
Providence has been compensated $75,000 by DH Media LLC for a one month advertising contract to build investor awareness for Echo Automotive, Inc. In addition, Providence expects to receive future compensation for the continuation of the advertising contract for minimum of two additional months at $75,000 per month for a total of $225,000."
I've just finished to read Greenblatt's "You Can Be A Stock Market Genius"... I'm sure, you already know this book. Horrible title but very interesting book. I'm now moving out from PnD to devote my time to special situations, like Bankruptcy and Spin-offs.
Currently I'm invested in $STRZQ and I'm doing more DD about $STRZA. There are two write-ups on Sumzero about those companies.
Regarding $STRZA I'm trying to find how large is the insiders portions on the parent and on the spunned company. |

For the moment no pump campaign has begun. I've put Strategic Internet Invest (OOTC:SIII) on my radar. |

Hi Maj and everybody on the Geo boards!
I'm back to Europe from my honeymoon in California. Very nice places! Maybe Laguna Beach and Alabama Hill were the most impressive ones.
Now is business as usual and I'll try to be more active on the boards.
I've just heard, that Zack Buckley presented a very bearish report on Splunk Inc (Unknown:SPLK) at the Value Investors Congress.
Zack Buckley is the same person that prepared with you the report on Subaye (OOTC:SBAY) and I think you should know him also personally.
If his thesis is true, this company is a very rewarding short play.
Any thoughts? Do you have read his report?

You're right. Smartheat (OOTC:HEAT) was also cited by Roddy Boyd in his article. And also Smartheat (OOTC:HEAT) was and is still halted!
Benjamin Wey has really an enviable track record!
Does he assisted also Silvercorp Metals Inc (NYSE:SVM)? Until now I didn't find any evidence.

Interactive Brokers could not find any symbol for Pazoo? Maybe is it too illiquid to be traded on their online platform?
I already had in the past a similar issue and to post an order it was necessary to call.
What's your broker? Is it possible there to open positions? |
 | 13680 | | | Lounge | PZOO | | 06-Aug-2012 05:19 PM | |
I totally agree with you, Pazoo (OTCCB:PZOO) is a future pump&dump.
I've also found this interesting post:
http://www.aimhighprofits.com/penny-stock-alerts-pazoo-pzoo-stock-a-buy-at-0-10-15873
and also http://promotionstocksecrets.com published a report about them (only premium and I've no membership).
Beware that aimhighprofits.com is also a promoter, from the site disclaimer: "Since AimHighProfits.com sometimes receives compensation from, and its owners, operators and affiliates may hold stock in, the profiled companies, there is an inherent conflict of interest in AimHighProfits.com statements and opinions and such statements and opinions cannot be considered independent"
I want to check the execs and maybe I'll open a small long position. |
 | 13636 | | | Investing on Fundamentals | ARNA | | 19-Jul-2012 05:43 PM | |
Maybe Citron's today's report responded to this question.
If Citron believes that in 1 year, Vivus's Qsymia revenues will be exactly what they are today (zero) and if it's true that Qsymia is better than Arena Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ARNA)'s Belviq... let us draw our own conclusions...
Generally speaking, you can take as many "magic pills" as you like to reduce your weight but if you do not change your lifestyle - doing a proper diet and more exercise - it's impossible to deal with obesity in an effective and sustainable way. On the contrary, the side-effects of such drugs may overcome the positive effects.
Therefore I believe that the recent "Weight-loss Drug War" will end with a defeat for all the participants.
Still to quote Citron's report:
"There is long track record in the US of diet drugs being horrible investments, due to having a very short half-life."
That said, I don't know if now it's the right moment to short some of those companies and also Andrew Left didn't disclose at the end of the report, if he has short positions. |

Maj, I didn't find any other connections between Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) and T. Rowe Price, only that they sponsored some publications about Organovo's technologies.
Yesterday I closed my short positions at $3.65 (locked 170% profits!).

Great pick, Maj! After the article was published on SA Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) imploded!
I'm still short since $9.89 - I'm waiting the price goes lower than $3. Anyway I'll keep my gains if it goes above $5 again.
Any new findings about the role of T Rowe Price? |
 | 13550 | | | Investing on Fundamentals | ONVO | | 20-Jun-2012 10:11 AM | |
Block-Trades? If they wanted to sell to institutional investors, why didn't they place directly an IPO?
Also if they are going to sell blocks to institutions, for sure not at the current price level of almost $10/share.
There are currently promoting newsletter for Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) but they've already started an IR campaign, sponsoring magazine's articles, for example:
http://m.theatlantic.com/sponsored/connections/archive/2012/06/257654/
Read the disclaimer on the top:
"Sponsor Content Provided by T. Rowe Price"
T. Rowe Price must be Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) Investor Relations Firm, I suppose.
Give a look at the most recent PCAOB Inspection of Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) auditor, Mayer Hoffman McCann:
http://pcaobus.org/Inspections/Reports/Documents/2011_Mayer_Hoffman_McCann_PC.pdf
Here an extract: "The deficiencies identified in one of the audits reviewed included a deficiency of
such significance that it appeared to the inspection team that the Firm, at the time it
issued its audit report, had not obtained sufficient competent evidential matter to
support its opinion on the issuer's financial statements." |

421M Market Cap but only 120K Revenues, 11M Assets and 49M Liabilities (as of Mar 30, 2012).
+75% in 5 day
+183% in 1 month
+302% in 3 months
+484% in 6 months (it trades since Feb, 14)
What a stellar performance on quite small Avg Vol (3m) of 107,883!
Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) is definitely very overvalued!
Even if Organovo Holdings (OOTC:ONVO) is a legit company, their technology is so futuristic that it can requires decades before to monetize it.
A company with so a game changing technology that decided to go public through a RTO instead of IPO and that trades on OTC instead of NASDAQ raises of course some doubts on their real intentions... and then also that recent forward split (10.59135:1) on January 31, 2012.
I'm seriously thinking of shorting this name when today the market opens. |
 | 13522 | | | Lounge | GOGC | | 15-Jun-2012 07:44 AM | |
Yes, an "imminent" USDA approval is a typical story to tout.
The share structure of Global Green (OTCCB:GOGC) raises also some doubts:
* 3B shares authorized
* 746M outstanding (only ~25% of authorized)
* 81M float (only ~10% of outstanding)
I'll check the executives and insiders later... |
 | 13460 | | | Investing on Fundamentals | RACK | | 15-May-2012 06:00 PM | |
Since inception I've received 26 newsletters promoting Rackwise (OOTC:RACK) but the price is not moving so much up.
The promotion worked very well the first days... I'm happy, I'm closed my positions soon after the promotion started. As already said, with an Altman Z-Score of -53.73, Rackwise (OOTC:RACK) is a higly probable candidate for bankrupt, like the CEO's previous firm.
I think, I'm found the next promo candidate of some of the same guys: look at Dynastar Holdings, Inc. (DYNA.OB). The also problem is, there is practically no trading yet and the last price is artificially too high (after only two trades).
Here my first findings:
RTO completed on Feb 2, 2012. On March 13, 2012, they issued a 10% convertible promissory note to Paradigm Capital Holdings (Michael Lichtenstein), the same company behind the RACK promo.
After the RTO and until Mar, 19 2012 the price was $0.20. On Mar, 20 bot 200@0.92 and on Mar, 22 bot 600@0.90. Until now they are the only transactions.
The CFO, Robert Mohr, was Principal Financial Officer of BEAC, which was promoted on Nov 2011 and Mar 2012. BEAC is also linked to Michael Lichtenstein! http://google.brand.edgar-online.com/PeopleFilingResults.aspx?PersonID=3134556&PersonName=MICHAEL%20LICHTENSTEIN
November 2, 2011, trading symbol was changed from “MEDD.OB” to “DYNA.OB”.
The placement agent was Gottbetter Capital Markets, LLC,
New PR on Dec 20, 2011: Undiscovered Equities, Inc. (“UEI”) - paid in cash and shares. The agreement with UEI will terminate on Dec 31, 2012.

Good call on American Liberty Pet (OTCCB:OREO)... also $LSTG, the previous Rhoden & Vollmers's PnD collapsed after 3 months since the promotion started (now it trades at $0.16).
Anyway, as for Luxeyard (OOTC:LUXR), no shares to borrow...
You also noticed the last analysis on Zagg (NASDAQ:ZAGG).
This time the fraud allegation came by two professors of accounting, Catanach and Ketz.
Previously Citron, Roddy Boyd and Nicholas Pardini expressed many doubt about Zagg (NASDAQ:ZAGG).
I have to say, I'm also quite convinced... so large inventories are very suspect for a product (screen protectors) that can be produced just-in-time and with a high risk of obsolescence and then the deal with Best-Buy has more shadows than lights.
Yesterday Catanach and Ketz published also a very significant "addendum":
"any firm that hides the fact that operating cash flow and free cash flow are negative by adding some receivables to cash is engaging in accounting shenanigans."
The only problem is that Zagg (NASDAQ:ZAGG) is so volatile.. they already bounced back from $7 (end 2011) to $13 (current level).

Yes, Luxeyard (OOTC:LUXR) deserves a closer watch. The website is very good, but alone it cannot justify 136M mkt cap.
About Domark Intl (OOTC:DOMK) there was a post in Januar by nodummy on iHub:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=70916665
"Joseph Emas also acted as legal counsel for two R. Thomas Kidd companies - Sportsquest Inc ( Sportsquest, Inc. (NBB:SPQS)) and DoMark International, Inc ( Domark Intl (OOTC:DOMK)) as well as 310 Holding Inc (nka JBI, Inc). " |

But who is Frank Alattar?
There are very few information about him, except for this trial:

He responded of fraud but won the appeal.
His real name is Farouk and his surname may be also be written as "Al-Attar"
The Al Attar family is active in Dubai in the Real Estate sector, but I've no idea if "our" Farouk and Khaled belong to this family:

Until now I didn't found any true evidence but I doubt this is a legit company: on Wednesday they increased the total number of authorized to 550 millions. In the last 10-K the authorized shares were 100 millions. Correct me, if I'm wrong.
I couldn't find any share to borrow, otherwise I'd shorted also this name. Anyway given that the pump is working it was better so ;-) Definitive on my short watchlist for the future. |
