PERI's full-year EPS guidance of $1.61 is now all but a certainty with this news that just came out ....

The short thesis that no way Google would renew agreement was just obliterated to pieces. Love the small float here and big short interest.

I had a nice conversation yesterday with their CFO yesterday and earnings will be released this week. The stock has plummeted from over $15 last month down to $6.86, meaning the stock now trades at cash. TTM EPS is $1.06 and last quarter, SNFCA reported EPS of .42 vs. .08 YOY and Q4 EPS in 2011 was .09 and no doubt Q4 (to be reported this week) will absolutely blow away last year's numbers. 5.4 million shares in the float and 1 million shares are short. Great set-up here for a return to $15. The CFO tells me their mortgage side of the business is booming and historically this company is as quiet as it gets in the public arena. It appears the company will report no less than EPS of $1.35 for 2012, so I see huge upside.

Maj, in your e-mail note this morning, you said PERI missed analyst expectations on EPS by .02, but you might be confused. They smoked analyst expectations for the full year and Q4. Previous EPS guidance was for .90 for the year and it was .99 and for Q4, guidance called for .24 and it was .32 ... and there's a huge new catalyst as well, as the company reiterated EPS of $1.61 for the year, but this time they added this statement which tells me they're low-balling big time ....

"Our guidance takes macro changes to the search industry into account, but reflects minimal contribution from new products we expect to introduce during the first half of 2013 and does not include the incremental benefit of potential accretive acquisitions,” concluded Mr. Mandelbaum."

Well being pretty good with hunches, I have a hunch that once EPS guidance is stated via PR (we saw what Perion Network (NASDAQ:PERI) did on announced guidance that we already knew for the most part), the stock will soar. Not many realize that a minimum of $4.60 EPS is in the cards. I think a PR and disclosure of EPS guidance could translate into a possible instant doubling of the stock price. I think the risk/reward is awesome.

Well let me know if you find anything bad before taking them down. LOL. I'm comfortable with the amount of insider buying, as it's not chump change they threw at it. Got my fingers crossed.

Seriously, after Jan. 8th's 8-K filing that wasn't PR'd, it can be deduced that REGI will make no less than $4.60 this year in EPS. Meanwhile, the stock trades at $6.50

I see an ENORMOUS opportunity here and in speaking with management, I'm told they'll PR the guidance, etc. very soon.

as DD yields incredible findings IMO. EPS growth this year of 61% on a forward P/E of 7. Mega insider buying and I can't believe I never looked at this one. Who told me about it ? A very good hedge fund manager in Beijing.

LOL ... I'm very familiar with Unr Holdings (OOTC:UNRH). I blasted this company a while back for guidance that fell off a cliff a couple of quarters ago. I'll revisit this again and see where they stand today.

Worried about valuation of an Israeli company ? Good grief, look where MLNX went to before they lowered guidance. I think Geo's nailed PERI, as it trades with a low float and it's hardly followed. Everyone has heard of Smilebox and alot of my friends on Facebook frequently use the service.

Well, since you didn't have a board for Israeli stocks, I posted here. LOL. This one's soooo set up to move strong into Q4 earnings. Looks like it's been ignored, so when strong news hits, it could really go. Good grief, you can't help but love the earnings potential and the forward P/E is equal to many China scams.

I think this Chinese name has always pretty much been viewed as legit ......

I've spoken at length with both Co CEO's here and I can almost gurantee that SMTX will be sold at much higehr prices. Don't kid yourself, SMTX is for sale IMO. I just think folks are impatient here after a good earnings report.

With the recent restrictions enacted by the PRC, I didn't even try. If DEYU indeed executes what LPH did in this PR (below), that'll work for me for now ....

When the VVUS approval leaked yesterday morning, ARNA only retraced to $10.75 and I would have expected a much greater sell-off, thus the current massive short position doesn't seem so lucrative. I wrote negatively about ARNA in a recent Seeking Alpha article, but have since somewhat changed my tune.
