Interact with a PRC attorney as he investigates the operations of U.S. Listed Chinese Securities (ChinaHyrbrids) and oversees on-the-ground due diligence in the PRC. Members of this board will be able to view GeoInvesting conversations with Bob as well as pose their own questions. Members will collaborate to decide on which companies to investigate identifying companies with potential red flags as well as firms that appear to have solid operations. Our ultimate goal is to make sure we know what we are investing in. So don't be shy... Ask Bob!!!
Please note that due diligence conversations are a work in progress, where conclusions can change day to day as new company information becomes available.
Diligence (DD) Hierarchy: (Stages can be accomplished in varying orders).
1. Pull SAIC/SAT filings.
2. Preliminary DD regarding routine claims, ownership structure and legal issues.
3. Preliminary on the ground DD including pictures, onsite visits, Employee interviews.
4. More serious DD depending on what is discovered in the previous steps.

With the current issues surrounding the ChinaHybrid space and as a result of our on the ground DD, GeoInvesting cannot justify taking a long position in any company with SAIC filings that do not match. This will be the status quo until this topic has been further clarified. In the meantime, we will be developing a short strategy for FIE-structured companies with mismatched filings. We will also perform on the ground DD, sensless equity offerings and poor auditor rankings to support our decisions.
If the NASDAQ is considering reviewing SAIC filings, so will we. We are finally at the point of acting first and asking questions later. We will still go long companies that meet our new quality standards.
The Final outcome regarding the CCME development will set the tone for the space going forward. It may also be prudent to wait for SEC resolution.

Here we talk about companies that we feel are or once were legit companies that are now trading on the pink sheets, as opposed to speculative ones which generally are getting pumped that we track on our speculative screen. Some of these companies choose to voluntarily migrate to the pink sheets to reduce expenses associated with listing fees, while others (often coined as Fallen Angels) may have been forced to de-list because they did not meet listing requirements precipitated by a scenario of weakened financials. Generally, investors are told to avoid Pink Sheet stocks. However, over our 20+ years of participating in the equity markets the Pink Sheet companies have offered us bountiful returns. The Pink Sheet venue offers a great opportunity to identify companies that are selling well below their valuation supported by their fundamentals; A truly inefficient market that gives non-professional investors an opportunity to take advantage of this valuation gap. In the end, investors could gain alpha by playing in a market that many other investors, including institutional investors often ignore. Specific companies that are on our tier 1 list are often companies emerging from chapter 11 bankruptcy. These chapter 11 companies are classic Fallen Angels that often reemerge as stronger companies, ripe to grow earnings. Many tier one pinks also become acquisition targets. INRB and ex-GeoBargain YoCream (YOCM) are just two examples of tier one pinks we owned that were acquired. Of course, there are risks to trading in these stocks, including the existence of small floats and lack of liquidity. Tier 1 companies are typically those that are investor friendly by issuing press releases, publishing financials and providing routine updates on business operations.

The board discusses the companies/stocks that are involved in the biotech industry.
Biotechnology (sometimes shortened to "biotech") is the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make useful products, and it is usually seen in agriculture, food production and medicine production. Modern use of similar terms includes genetic engineering as well as cell and tissue culture technologies. The concept encompasses a wide range of procedures (and history) for modifying living organisms according to human purposes — going back to domestication of animals, cultivation of plants, and "improvements" to these through breeding programs that employ artificial selection and hybridization. By comparison to biotechnology, bioengineering is generally thought of as a related field with its emphasis more on higher systems approaches (not necessarily altering or using biological materials directly) for interfacing with and utilizing living things. The United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity defines biotechnology as:
"Any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for specific use."
In other terms: "Application of scientific and technical advances in life science to develop commercial products" is biotechnology. Biotechnology draws on the pure biological sciences (genetics, microbiology, animal cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, embryology, cell biology) and in many instances it is also dependent on knowledge and methods from outside the sphere of biology (chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, information technology, biorobotics). Conversely, modern biological sciences (including even concepts such as molecular ecology) are intimately entwined and dependent on the methods developed through biotechnology and what is commonly thought of as the life sciences industry.
The board discusses the companies/stocks that are involved in the biotech industry.

OBOSS is a proprietary market timing system indicator that I created to signal when indices are over extended. OBOSS numerical readings alert investors that a change in trend is likely to commence.
* An extreme over bought signal warns investors to protect profits until the condition has neutralized. +2
* An extreme over sold condition indicates investors should be building new positions and adding to existing positions. -2
* A neutral condition indicates that the current trend should stay intact. -1 to +1
In extreme market conditions OBOSS gives investors an edge by keeping them in touch with the market extremes and keeps the average investor from being complacent about their portfolios. When OBOSS is used correctly it can protect profits in up trending markets and generate buying opportunities in down trending markets.
During a trend OBOSS stands as a reminder to stay with the current trend until an extreme signal has been given.
