Independence Energy Corp., an exploration stage company, focuses on the acquisition of oil and natural gas properties in Canada and the United States. The company was formerly known as Oliver Creek Resources Inc. and changed its name to Independence Energy Corp. in August 2008. Independence Energy Corp. was founded in 2005 and is based in Calgary, Canada.
